About You 

You will have relevant subject knowledge and experience in physical education and school-based youth physical activity and health, and have evidence of high quality research or be able to demonstrate research potential. With excellent communication skills and previous teaching experience at undergraduate level you will demonstrate a positive attitude to the teaching and research goals of the Department. You will have effective interpersonal skills and be able to use your own initiative as well as being able to operative effectively in teams. We are seeking someone with the ability to reflect on their own skills and knowledge and to seek opportunities to develop. 

About the Role

An academic with specialism in school-based youth physical activity is sought to join a dynamic and experienced team to contribute to the delivery of the BA (Hons) Physical Education and School Sport degree. You will be required to lead and teach modules focused on youth physical activity and health. In addition, having expertise to contribute to other aspects of the programme would be desirable. You will supervise undergraduate and postgraduate dissertations and act as a personal tutor for students across all years.  

This post will be of interest to applicants with a background in the theoretical and practical aspects of school-based youth physical education activity and health.
