About You 

An enthusiastic and friendly professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with a commitment to providing an excellent student experience.  

Candidates will be expected to have expertise and experience in supporting pre-registration students on clinical and/or in-service learning placements and in teaching clinical skills to health professionals. You should hold a current healthcare registration. Experience of supporting medical or physician associate students is desirable, in addition to having a keen interest in contributing to the professional, academic, research and scholarly development of the Department/Faculty.

The successful applicant will possess skills that encourage student engagement and facilitate student support. You will have excellent interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with students, the programme team, administrative staff and a range of partners including the NHS, Independent, Voluntary and Private sector. 

We would welcome applications from individuals who have an established track record of research output/scholarly publication, although there will be opportunities to be involved in research and ongoing scholarship and professional practice.

About the Role

You will work across the Medical School and contribute to the development and delivery of a wide range of programmes including the MBChB, MBChB with Foundation year, MSc Physician Associate Studies as well as post-registration programmes. We will offer exceptional opportunities for research and advanced scholarship and work with you to develop a progressive career development plan.
