Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Child and Adolescent Mental Health

About You 

You will have contemporary interdisciplinary experience, knowledge or practice in child and adolescent mental health, health, social care, youth work, child psychology or education. Therapeutic knowledge or experience would be beneficial for this role. You will also be able to effectively apply learning to real life situations. Ability to support the diverse academic and personal needs of individual students is essential to the role, as is ability to reflect on own skills and knowledge and see opportunities to develop. Your excellent interpersonal and communication skills will ensure that you become a key member of our friendly and supportive team.

The post will appeal to Clinical Psychologists, Registered Mental Health Nurses, Occupational Therapists and Social Workers or others. Experience in therapeutic interventions such as CBT/IAPT/PWP (psychological therapies) qualification or training would be advantageous.

About the Role

The post arises from AHSC programmes’ success in recruiting high student numbers, particularly so in this new programme. You will teach, carry out and publish research and supervise students across all levels within Applied Health and Social Care.
