About You 

You will be an experienced clinical practitioner with an appreciation of the clinical competencies defined by our accrediting body of the Society of Sports Therapists. You will be an enthusiastic and friendly professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills coupled with a commitment to providing an excellent student experience. A desire to provide a high quality, clinically focused learning experience is essential, and your teaching will be informed by your clinical and/or research experiences. You clinical experiences will inform your teaching philosophy and potentially your research ambitions, and research mentorship will be provided to enable your contribution to the sports therapy team. 

To be successful you will further enrich our students' experience through your expertise and subject knowledge as evidenced through your clinical experience. In return you will join a forward thinking and dynamic team, a growing student body, and an evolving Level 7 curriculum within Sports Therapy.

About the Role

You will be required to make a significant contribution to the delivery of our modules on Sports Therapy, including clinical supervision, and other areas of our core curriculum depending on your areas of expertise and experience. 

You will be expected to contribute to the research profile of the department through the activities of one of our Research Units, and to meet the qualitative and quantitative requirements for submission to the next Research Excellence Framework. You will be provided with mentorship in the research process including dissemination if required, acknowledging the transition from clinical practice into academia.
