About the Role

As Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Sport and Exercise Psychology you will be required to make a significant contribution to the delivery of our delivery of the BSc (Hons) Sport and Exercise Science degree, contributing to the leading and delivery of our modules in the areas of Sport and Exercise Psychology and Exercise and Health, as well as other areas of our core curriculum depending on your areas of expertise and experience. We would particularly welcome candidates who could teach one or more modules of our newly validated MSc program in Applied Sport and Exercise Science.  You will also supervise undergraduate dissertations and act as a personal tutor for students across all years.  Ability and commitment to design and implement an innovative approach to enhancing the student experience are essential.

You will be expected to contribute to the research activities of one of our Research Units and meet the qualitative and qualitative requirements for submission to the next Research Excellence exercise.

About You

You will be an enthusiastic and friendly professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills coupled with a commitment to providing an excellent student experience. An established or promising research profile in Sport and Exercise Psychology and very good teaching experience on undergraduate Sport and Exercise Science degree programmes is essential. A background in Sport and Exercise Psychology with supporting qualifications and experience would be an advantage.

To be successful you will further enrich our student’s experience through your expertise and subject knowledge as evidenced through your qualifications and extensive experience of professional practice.
