About the Role
This post will be in the Tse Memory Lab within the Department of Psychology and funded by the Academy of Medical Sciences. This post offers a unique opportunity to pioneer research that intersects cutting-edge neurological studies with practical health implications. As a Postdoctoral Researcher specializing in electrophysiology, particularly EEG, you will design and conduct experiments focused on spatial navigation memory, specifically exploring variations in both healthy aging individuals and early onset dementia groups. This role not only allows you to contribute significantly to the understanding of human behavioural mechanisms but also positions you at the forefront of scientific innovation. The position promises professional growth, access to state-of-the-art facilities, and collaboration with leading experts in cognitive neuroscience and pre-clinical research.
The top three duties and responsibilities of the role will be experiment design and execution, analysis electrophysiological data and programming an development of experimental tasks.

About You
As a Postdoctoral Research Assistant in Neuroscience you will have:
- Experience in designing and conducting advanced behavioural and EEG experiments to investigate memory and spatial navigation
- Ability to analyse electrophysiological data utilizing different methods such as Independent Component Analysis (ICA)
- Ability to develop and program experimental tasks using Unity or comparable software to test theories and models in spatial navigation
