About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an Administrator to join the History, Geography and Social Sciences department. You will have the skills to provide administrative and organisational support to a range of internal and external stakeholders whilst ensuring compliance with Department, Faculty and Institutional policies and procedures.
Your IT literacy will be of a high standard to include word-processing, databases & spreadsheets. You will have the ability to work well with minimal supervision and swiftly acquire and apply knowledge of student data and administrative processes, procedures and systems.
You will support the Departmental Administrative Manager to ensure the administrative functions of the Department are carried out within expected guidelines.
You will be expected to work independently in the provision of day-to-day administrative support to all staff and students connected with the Department as required by the role.
About You
As Administrator you will be an enthusiastic and friendly professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills coupled with a commitment to providing an outstanding student experience.
You will have excellent organisational skills with an ability to work under pressure whilst being creative, using initiative and being proactive.
You will have proven experience of working in a similar role, preferably in Higher Education, with knowledge of a student support environment.
