About You

Pro-active, self-motivated, flexible, and forward thinking you will be experienced in managing a demanding and complex student caseload, whilst operating within set timeframes. Your excellent interpersonal and communication skills will enable you to communicate effectively with students who are experiencing personal and practical difficulties. Excellent organisational, prioritisation and planning skills are essential as is personal resilience and the ability to use your own initiative to resolve complex problems by applying creative and innovative solutions to support student success.

About the Role

As a key member of the Transitions team you will focus on maximising student retention, and ensuring a consistent, high-quality and streamlined approach to supporting students who are struggling or at risk of leaving the University.

You will also streamline and develop processes to enable students at risk to be identified at the earliest possible opportunity including ensuring such students are directed to support services in a timely manner.

An enthusiastic and experienced individual with a commitment to embedding and implementing activities, you will support students from a wide range of backgrounds including students from underrepresented groups within Higher Education, who will benefit from breaking down barriers to success.
