About You

You will have experience of conducting literature reviews for academic dissemination, expertise in qualitative data analysis and ability to conduct workshops with children and young people. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team is essential as is an ethical approach to conducting research. A professional outlook and behaviour appropriate to working in a school environment are also important.

About the Role

You will provide quality research support to an enthusiastic team of academics leading research projects using visual methodology to explore perspectives, particularly those of children and young people, regarding inclusion and exclusion in school settings. The research activities will involve school workshops in order to develop a training resource that can be utilised by Special Educational Needs Coordinators (SENCos) across the region and beyond.
