About You

You will be a self-motivated, positive and flexible team player with the ability to develop effective working relationships at all levels across the University. You will be a strong communicator, highly organised with an excellent attention to detail. Good knowledge and understanding of the Higher Education research environment is also essential.

With a good knowledge and understanding of research governance, integrity and experience of successful research contracting with a range of funders you will have an opportunity to work in a growing department which has a wide brief in supporting the research governance infrastructure.  

About the Role

You will support and advise senior staff within University in managing the efficient processing of research contracts and our governance and sponsorship responsibilities, particularly with respect to health-related research. You will have the opportunity to shape how the Research Office develops and operationalises its approach in these areas.  Edge Hill was one of the most improved universities in REF 2014, as such you will be part of a team supporting the continued development of research.  You will be part of a growing but tight-knit team that works collegially to support academic colleagues to produce high-quality research across a range of disciplines.
