About You

As a current Edge Hill student, living on or off campus, you will have demonstrable skills in engaging with others to help them feel welcome, settled and supported. You will be able to demonstrate an ability to plan, organise, promote and facilitate events using a high level of energy and enthusiasm.  You will also be able to demonstrate an ability to work as a part of a team, proactively signposting others to support services as required.   

About the Role 

Reporting to the Campus Life Managers and the Campus Life Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that the residential experience of students is positive, supported and engaging.  You will do this by conducting regular visits to Halls of Residence, organising a variety of activities throughout the year and promoting various events led by Student Services.  You will work closely with the Campus Communicators to ensure that your role and your created events are publicised on social media and other forms of communication.  You will also provide administrative support in the newly created Catalyst Building where Student Services are based.

Hours Per Week:9.03 (based on an average annualized contract)

Weeks Per Year: 27 (244 hours in total)

Work Pattern: Evenings/Weekends (flexible rota arrangements will be applied)
