Salary:  £30,942 to £33,797 per annum

About You

About the Role

You will provide high-level, professional, discreet support to the Head of Department whilst providing administrative leadership and organisational support to staff and students.

You will be responsible for the management, delivery and maintenance of high quality administrative services to support learning, teaching, research and contract work within your designated department.  A key focus of the role will be working closely with the Head of Department to provide strategic co-ordination and management of administrative functions relating to the Department’s finance systems. 

With responsibility for the line management of the department administration team, you will ensure that effective strategies are implemented and that all supporting policies and processes are managed appropriately.
