 About the Role

 This is an exciting opportunity for a Faculty Quality Administration Officer to join the Faculty of Arts & Sciences department based within the Faculty Office the post holder will be supporting a varied mix of disciplines from the Faculty departments. This is a busy and varied role which will support the Faculty in the processes to deliver a range of new academic programmes and support student engagement processes. The role will provide an opportunity for an experienced administrator to develop their skills in supporting Higher Education Quality provision. 

 The post holder will be responsible for servicing the Module Approval Sub-Committee (MASC), programme and module specification updates on the University’s electronic validation system (e-Val). You will also support the development of the faculties quality assurance and enhancement processes and hold responsibility for the operational management of student approaches in the Faculty of Arts & Sciences, with an overview of QAA/UK Quality Code/CMA and university requirements in this area.

 About You

As Quality Administration Officer you will have:

  • Excellent IT skills with experience of data inputting, checking and correction
  • Able to organise and prioritise work effectively whilst working to multiple deadlines
  • Experience of servicing high level meetings
