About You

Pro-active, self-motivated, flexible and forward thinking, if you are looking for an exciting and varied administrative opportunity within Higher Education, this role is for you. You will have the opportunity to grow and develop your understanding of the full student journey, from recruitment through to assessment, in a role that will allow you to flourish and develop professionally within the Faculty of Education.

We are looking for an Administration Coordinator to join our Professional Support Team in the Department of Children, Education and Communities. An individual who is able to work on their own initiative; you will be enthusiastic with proven organisational and prioritisation skills. To be successful it is essential that you are flexible and positive in your approach to work, allowing you to build relationships across a large academic department that enable you to effectively work as part of a successful administration team.

About the Role 

You will coordinate support in delivering high quality teaching through effective resource allocation and administration across courses including Primary Initial Teacher Education and several other education-related undergraduate programmes.  In this role you will be a member of a high performing team, liaising with colleagues from across the department and wider University, helping to establish effective administration and resourcing processes, contributing to the overall student experience. You will have regular contact with academic members of staff, supporting the delivery of high-quality teaching, providing effective administration and guidance.
