About You

You will also be pro-active and dedicated, in addition to taking a creative, problem-solving approach to the improvement and development of activities to support our Widening Access work. Excellent interpersonal skills and an enthusiastic approach is essential for this position.

About the Role

The purpose of this role is to support the University to further its Widening Access and Participation objectives and targets in our Access and Participation Plan. The post holder will devise, develop, implement and evaluate a range of targeted programmes and events, for prospective students and their families, designed to raise awareness of higher education, and of Edge Hill University. The role will work with a wide range of underrepresented groups but will have a particular focus on working with Black, Asian and minority ethnic (BAME) groups to increase the proportion of BAME students studying at Edge Hill University.
