About You

We are looking for a sport & exercise science technician with successful experience of working in a busy sport and exercise science lab environment.   

To be successful you will have previous experience of working within higher education and have knowledge of sport & exercise science lab and field based testing procedures.  Your ability to build and maintain relationships with a variety of people and colleagues will be key to the success of this role.

You will have proven organisational and prioritisation skills and an ability to work independently and as part of a team.  If you are excited by the opportunity to support the range of teaching and research activities within our specialist sport and exercise science laboratories, then this may be the role for you.

About the Role 

You will work under the direction of the Technical Administrator and in close collaboration with Programme Leaders and the Head of Department to support learning, teaching, research and contract work undertaken within the Department of Sport & Physical Activity.   There is significant scope for professional development within the role to support future career development.

The main purpose of the post is to provide high quality technical services to support learning, teaching, research and lab/practical practice within the sport and exercise science lab/practical based environments.

You will play a key part in helping Edge Hill University to deliver an outstanding student experience.
