About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Systems Transition Manager to join the Digital team within the Digital, Data and Technology department. This role offers the opportunity to lead a strategically important change programme that will shape how the University manages and governs its critical business system. 

Your main duties and responsibilities will include:

• Leading the transition of system ownership into DDaT ensuring clear accountability, governance and sustainable support arrangements across the University’s system
• Reviewing and improving current ownership models identifying risks, gaps and inefficiencies to align with University standards and strengthen service resilience
• Working closely with stakeholders, suppliers, and senior leaders driving organisational change, establish effective operational processes, and embed a consistent system ownership model 

This role provides the chance to work across a wide range of services and stakeholder, influencing institutional change and improving digital service maturity at a University wide level. You will gain a valuable experience in governance, service transition and organisational change, while playing a central role in building a more resilient, consistent and future focused digital environment.

About You

As Systems Transition Manager, you will have:

• Strong experience working with enterprise systems in a large and complex organisation 
• Proven ability to define and improve system ownership, governance and service operating models 
• Experience managing organisational change, service transitions and embedding sustainable support arrangements
• A strong understanding of risk, compliance and service lifecyle management 
• Strong organisational, analytical skills and confident in managing multiple priorities, with excellent stakeholder management skills,
• Ability to influence across teams and a proactive, collaborative approach to continuous improvement
