We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking finance leader to head our Finance Operations function.

As Head of Finance operations, you will play a key role in providing strategic and operational leadership across accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash processing, credit control and related finance systems, ensuring the delivery of an efficient, compliant and customer-focused service.

You will lead a high-performing team, driving service excellence, strong financial control, continuous improvement and finance transformation. Acting as the University's lead expert on transactional finance, you will oversee debt management, treasury processes, systems optimisation, compliance, policy development and stakeholder engagement across the institution.

About the Role

As our IT Infrastructure Endpoint Engineer, you'll play a key role in shaping and supporting the University's modern digital environment. Working within our Digital, Data and Technology team, you'll help deliver secure, resilient and innovative endpoint services that support students, academics and professional services colleagues across the University.

You'll take ownership of a diverse range of technologies, including Intune, SCCM, Autopilot, Active Directory, Entra ID and Microsoft 365, helping to manage and evolve our endpoint estate. About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an Enterprise Applications Support Officer to join the Digital team with Digital, Data and Technology department. This role provides the opportunity to work at the heart of the University’s digital transformation, supporting and enhancing the core enterprise applications. 

Your main duties and responsibilities will include:

• Technical Development and System Integration – Responsible for developing, configuring and supporting the University’s enterprise applications, including managing APIs, databases and technical workflows

About the Role

We are seeking an inspirational educator and role model to lead curriculum development, clinical reasoning teaching, learning delivery and evaluation of clinical placements in Year 3 of our MB ChB programme as a Clinical Academic with an Honorary NHS appointment. 

As Clinical Senior Lecturer you will ensure alignment of teaching with Year 3 learning objectives, programme outcomes, GMC requirements and contemporary evidence-informed educational practice. You will engage with placement providers to ensure equivalence of learning opportunities, consistency of educational experience and high-quality clinical teaching across all placement settings through effective quality assurance, curriculum evaluation and stakeholder engagement.

You will also provide cross-programme leadership for the development, integration and evaluation of clinical reasoning (CR) across Years 3–5, ensuring a coherent and progressive approach to the teaching and assessment of clinical reasoning in line with programme outcomes and GMC expectations

This part time clinical academic role is open to senior medically qualified individuals who are on the GMC’s Specialist or GP Register and hold a substantive NHS role.

About the Role

As Senior Academic Lead for Admissions you will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight of admissions across the MB ChB and Physician Associate programmes. This is an exciting opportunity to join Edge Hill University as Clinical Lecturer in General Practice, Infectious Diseases Or Intensive Care Medicine in collaboration with Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine and (LSTM) and National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR), for a committed and enthusiastic clinician in higher specialty training (minimum level of ST3).

As Senior Clinical Lecturer / Senior Academic GP in Community-Based Undergraduate Medicine, you will contribute to the coordination, support and quality enhancement of community placements, working closely with GP Clinical Placement Supervisors (CPS) and other community educators. As well as supporting the MBChB programme through engagement with placement providers and curriculum delivery,

You will work collaboratively with the Practice Education Team and Professional Support colleagues to maintain effective relationships with placement providers and community partners, and respond to educational issues

Within the University, you will contribute to teaching, simulation, curriculum development, assessment, peer review of teaching and admissions processes. You will also engage in educational scholarship and contribute to innovation in teaching and learning practice.

About the Role

As Lecturer in Clinical Skills and Simulation, you will be required to make a significant contribution to the delivery our modules and other areas of our core curriculum depending on your areas of expertise and experience. The Foundation Centre, within the Faculty of Education, supports students preparing for degree-level study through a range of programmes, including integrated foundation courses, language modules, summer schools and equivalency provision. Remuneration

Time Commitment

The Chair role carries a greater time commitment than that of an ordinary trustee. This includes:

Location

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Academic Quality Officer to join the Quality Assurance and Enhancement Team. 

The postholder will work with other members of the team to achieve the objectives of the Quality Assurance and Enhancement Team. Alongside the Academic Quality and Standards Managers (AQSM) you will deliver a professional secretariat service for Academic Board, its committees, and major sub-committees in accordance with the University’s Articles of Governance. You will also contribute to the development and enhancement of quality management processes and take a role in assuring the University's continuing alignment with the Office for Students (OfS) part B Conditions of Registration for quality, standards and student outcomes on which the University’s continuing status within the UK HE sector depends.

As Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Sports Therapy, you will play a key role in delivering our research-led BSc and MSc Sports Therapy programmes. You will contribute to teaching across a range of sports therapy and related modules, drawing on your expertise to deliver an outstanding student experience and prepare students for successful careers or further study.

You will support undergraduate and postgraduate research activity, contribute to clinical supervision opportunities, and help enhance the Department's research, knowledge exchange and professional development activities. There may also be an opportunity to undertake the role of BSc Sports Therapy Programme Leader, providing academic leadership and working closely with colleagues and the Society of Sports Therapists to support programme development and quality enhancement.

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Corporate Health and Safety Manager to lead and develop health and safety across the University.

Working within the Strategic Assurance Department, you will be responsible for shaping and delivering the University’s Health and Safety Strategy, ensuring the effective implementation of policies, procedures and action plans across faculties and departments.

You will provide expert advice and guidance to colleagues at all levels, promote a positive safety culture, and ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and regulatory requirements.

The role will oversee the University’s audit programme, accident and near-miss reporting processes, performance monitoring, compliance arrangements and training provision. You will work closely with stakeholders across the institution, coordinate the Health and Safety Representative network, and provide reporting and assurance to senior leaders and Governors.

As the University’s lead health and safety specialist, you will act as the key point of contact for the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) and drive the continuous improvement of health and safety management across the organisation.
