            <p data-pasted="true"><strong>About the Role</strong></p><p>We are seeking an experienced and proactive Corporate Health and Safety Manager to lead and develop health and safety across the University.</p><p>Working within the Strategic Assurance Department, you will be responsible for shaping and delivering the University&rsquo;s Health and Safety Strategy, ensuring the effective implementation of policies, procedures and action plans across faculties and departments.</p><p>You will provide expert advice and guidance to colleagues at all levels, promote a positive safety culture, and ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and regulatory requirements.</p><p>The role will oversee the University&rsquo;s audit programme, accident and near-miss reporting processes, performance monitoring, compliance arrangements and training provision.             <h2 id="isPasted">About the Role</h2><p>Site Services is essential to the smooth running of the University, ensuring all areas are clean, safe, and maintained to the highest standards. As a Housekeeper, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality cleaning and portering services across campus.</p><p>Reporting to the FM Site Services Supervisor, you will be part of a dedicated team responsible for maintaining excellent standards across academic, residential, and support areas. Your duties will include routine and deep cleaning, supporting portering activities, maintaining equipment and supplies, and ensuring all work is carried out in line with service level agreements.</p><p>You will also engage with students, staff, and visitors, providing a professional and friendly service while contributing to a welcoming and inclusive environment. Flexibility is essential, as you may be required to work across different areas of campus and adapt to changing operational needs.</p><p>The role will predominantly be worked Monday to Friday; however, there may be occasions where weekend working is required to meet business needs.
