About You 

Experienced practitioners and lecturers - bring your wealth of experience to Edge Hill University and accelerate your career path. You should have a relevant background and experience of teaching and supporting students successfully on paramedic programmes of study.

You will be a committed, creative and forward-thinking educator with a PhD qualification and current registration with a healthcare professional registrant body (HCPC/NMC). 

To be successful, you will further enrich our student’s experience through your expertise and subject knowledge as evidenced through your qualifications and professional experience. In return, you will join a forward thinking and dynamic team where you will be supported to thrive as a flexible, positive and visionary team player with the ability to lead creative academic programmes within paramedic education that pushes the boundaries of curriculum development.

About the Role

Joining us at an interesting time, we are ensuring we retain a responsive curriculum that is fit for purpose in today’s turbulent times. 

You will make a major contribution to the leadership, management and delivery of teaching, learning and assessment provision for our paramedic undergraduate taught programmes. 

Contributing to research themes and being clinically active and alert to the evolving needs of the paramedic profession you will have a voice in the future development of the department and have opportunity to influence curriculum design.
