About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for two current undergraduate or postgraduate students to join our Library and Learning services team on a student internship for 10 weeks. The internship is highly beneficial as this will enable you to enhance your digital and employability skills and contribute to the development of student and staff digital experiences at Edge Hill University. 

You will be producing student/learner case studies for staff to further understand the importance of providing accessible content for all students, audit programme and module areas to identify and make accessibility improvements and recommendations and also provide training materials and development resources for academic staff.

About You

As a student intern – Digital Accessibility you will have:

  • Strong IT proficiency skills including word-processing, databases and spreadsheets.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • High level of communication skills both written and oral.
  • Able to understand instructions and maintain complete confidentiality.
  • Able to use own initiative and work autonomously, as well as part of a team.
  • A can do, enthusiastic attitude.
