About You

We are looking for an individual who is solution-focused with the ability to significantly contribute to provide the best payroll service for our customers. Using your initiative, you will respond positively to new situations and demonstrate a resilient mind set in a changing environment.

Able to work flexibly and reliably to meet the needs of the service, you will have excellent Payroll, Pensions, IT and data entry skills along with the ability to pay attention to detail and prioritise your workload effectively whilst maintaining a high standard. With excellent interpersonal and communications skills you will have the ability to build highly effective working relationships and be able to demonstrate an understanding of the business. A willingness to contribute towards continual development and enhancements are essential.

About the Role

You will work as part of the Payroll and Pension Team which provides a high quality, accurate and timely payroll function in accordance with all statutory, legislative and contractual obligations. The payroll service is set within the busy Finance Office, which provides full financial services to the University. This role provides an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to join a professional and friendly team.
