About You

A proven inspirational leader, you will be a key player in fulfilling the vision and ambitions of the Faculty of Education. You will have the communication skills and expertise to build relationships and positively engage with and influence both diverse stakeholder groups and colleagues within the organisation. 

You will have experience of developing, managing and leading new programmes, initiatives and courses. You are adaptable, resilient and have high levels of emotional intelligence.

You will have demonstrable experience and expertise in teacher education, with the ability to see and nurture the links between research, practice and knowledge exchange, and a commitment to positive change and impact outside academia.

About the Role 

You will be responsible for the vision and operational planning related to all aspects of the Department of Secondary and Further Education, which includes internal leadership for the preparation of Ofsted inspections, curriculum development and design, recruitment & retention, student employability and quality management.
