            <h3 style="margin-left:0cm;" data-pasted="true">About the Role</h3><p>As an Accommodation Officer at Edge Hill University, you will play a key role in delivering an excellent residential experience for our students. Working within the Facilities Management Accommodation team, you will provide a visible, proactive, and student-focused service that helps create a safe, inclusive, and supportive living environment.</p><p>You will act as the main point of contact for students within your allocated area, supporting their transition into university life and helping to build strong residential communities. The role involves managing accommodation services, supporting student engagement, coordinating key processes such as room allocations and transfers, responding to accommodation issues, and working with colleagues to deliver a high-quality student experience.</p><p>You will work closely with teams across the University and external partners to support student wellbeing, resolve issues effectively, and contribute to a positive campus community that helps attract, retain, and support students throughout their university journey.</p><p>As part of the University&rsquo;s ongoing commitment to redeployment, please note that this vacancy may be withdrawn at any stage of the recruitment process if a suitable redeployee is identified.</p><p>For informal enquiries about this vacancy, please contact Bryan Tyrer, Accommodation Manager at Tyrerb@edgehill.ac.uk</p><p><strong>About You</strong></p><p>We are looking for an approachable, proactive, and customer-focused individual who is passionate about supporting students and delivering excellent service. You will have experience in a customer-facing environment, strong communication skills, and the ability to build positive relationships with a diverse range of people.</p><p>You will be organised, adaptable, and confident managing competing priorities while using your initiative to solve problems and support students effectively.
