Senior Clinical Lecturer

About the Role

The Faculty of Health, Social Care and Medicine are looking to appoint a Senior Clinical Lecture. 

Your main duties and responsibilities will be: 

• To fully engage as a member of the MBCHB Programme team, making a significant contribution to the strategic and operational development of the programme. 
• Contributing to, and leading as appropriate, strategic planning, regulatory responsibilities, curriculum development and delivery relevant to the role. 
• Effectively lead the requirements, disciplinary processes and support for professional standards and conduct of students on the MBCHB programme ensuring that excellent student support, guidance and communication is in place. 

 Through this role you will be able to grow as a leader in medical education, developing your professional identity and carer aspirations and you will be supporting the NHS and patients by inspiring and guiding the next generation of doctors.

About You

As a Senior Clinical Lecturer you will have:

• Primary medical/health professions qualification or Doctoral level qualification in a relevant academic discipline
• Sustained experience in undergraduate medical education with knowledge of Higher Education curricula 
• Adaptable with the ability to operate flexibly in a structured yet complex, changing and challenging environment
