About the Role

We are seeking a Lecturer in Graphic Design to help shape and deliver our BA (Hons) Graphic Design programme. You will contribute to a forward-thinking curriculum that prepares students for contemporary creative practice.

You will deliver high-quality, research-informed teaching across areas such as digital design, visual communication, creative technologies, and professional practice. We welcome expertise in areas including UI/UX, branding, motion graphics, AI, immersive media, interactive design, or digital publishing.

This is an exciting opportunity to support students in becoming confident, industry-ready creatives through innovative and inclusive teaching. You will also contribute to the University’s research environment and REF activities.

About You

You are an enthusiastic, student-focused educator with strong communication skills and expertise in contemporary graphic design practice. You will have experience teaching in higher education and an emerging or established research profile.

Industry experience and knowledge of current and emerging design practices are highly valued. You will be committed to inclusive teaching, curriculum development, and supporting diverse learners, while contributing to wider departmental activities.
