About the Role

As Lecturer or Senior Lecturer, you will be required to make a significant contribution to the delivery of our Computer Science & Engineering undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, as well as CPD courses. Applicants with expertise in all areas of Computer Science are encouraged to apply. Areas of priority includes (but not limited to) contributing to/leading the delivery & research in Software Engineering, Cloud Computing, Distributed Systems, IoT, Microprocessors & Embedded Systems, Robotics and related areas.

You will be expected to contribute to the research profile of the department, establishing and/or contributing to activities of one of our Research Units and to meet the qualitative and quantitative requirements for submission to the next Research Excellence Framework (REF).

You will be an enthusiastic and friendly professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills coupled with a commitment to providing an excellent student experience. You will have excellent, effective and adaptive teaching skills underpinned by sound pedagogical principles and ability to support the diverse academic and personal needs of individuals students
