About the Role
As a Lecturer in Nurse Education, you will play a vital role in shaping the next generation of nurses and healthcare professionals. This is an exciting opportunity for a registered nurse to bring their clinical expertise into a supportive and forward-thinking academic environment, helping students develop the knowledge, skills and confidence to become safe, compassionate and effective practitioners.
You will deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment across our nursing programmes, using a range of innovative approaches to teaching including simulation and digital learning. Alongside teaching, you will provide academic and pastoral support, acting as a personal tutor, assessor and mentor to students throughout their learning journey.
This role offers the opportunity to influence the future nursing workforce while maintaining strong links with practice partners and the realities of contemporary healthcare delivery. You will contribute to curriculum development, programme enhancement and collaborative working with healthcare organisations to ensure an exceptional student experience and high-quality practice learning opportunities.

About You
As Lecturer in Nurse Education you will be an enthusiastic and approachable NMC-registered nurse with contemporary clinical experience and a passion for supporting others to learn and develop. Whether you already have experience in higher education or have gained expertise through supervising, assessing or mentoring students within clinical practice, you will be excited by the opportunity to make a lasting impact on the future healthcare workforce.
You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a commitment to inclusive student success and the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues and healthcare partners. You'll be confident sharing your knowledge and experience, supporting students through both academic and professional challenges, and helping them develop into capable and compassionate practitioners.
