About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping and evolving a new University intranet, used daily by staff across the institution. This is a senior, influential position with responsibility for technical leadership, project ownership and mentoring others.

Your main duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Lead the development and management of the University’s SharePoint and Microsoft 365 environment, ensuring high-quality, secure and scalable solutions that support a modern, user-centred intranet.
  • Design and deliver innovative Microsoft 365 solutions, including Power Platform workflows and integrations with third-party systems, to enhance productivity and user experience across the University.
  • Provide technical leadership within the Web Services team, including leading project teams, supporting junior developers, and working closely with stakeholders to deliver complex digital projects on time.

You will be working with modern Microsoft 365 technologies at scale, using the latest tools to deliver meaningful, real-world impact in a higher education environment. Collaborating across the University, helping define digital standards and champion accessibility and user experience.

You will join a supportive and values-led organisation that encourages professional development, learning and engagement with the wider digital and Microsoft 365 community.

As part of the University’s ongoing commitment to redeployment, please note that this vacancy may be withdrawn at any stage of the recruitment process if a suitable redeployee is identified.
